Wis grazing milk cows for sale
This herd consists of 2 groups of seasonally calved, high quality rotational grazed Jersey and Jersey cross cows. One group of 150 is fall freshened (Sept, Oct 2010). The second group of 300 head will be freshened between March 1 and May 15, 2011. These cows have been raised from birth on our farm, under our management and have been on pasture every summer. The sales receipts from the creamery calculates to 14,500# average with a yearly blended 4.5% B.F. and 3.6% protein. The current SCC is 215,000 (as of March 6, 2011). All animals are home raised in a closed herd and all vaccinations are current. Only A.I. breeding and top purebred Jersey bulls have been used. Our preference is to sell the entire herd to one or two buyers. Our second option is to have a farm sale on June 1, 2011. Priced at $1600/ head. 608-574-2307 |
